His father, Charles Barse, was also a native and life-long resident of Little Falls. His mother is still living. Mr. Barse has 175 acres of land and a herd of forty milch cows. He is a member of the Grange and enterprising farmer. The family consists of four brothers and one sister, and is one of the oldest and best known in the county, the grandfather having settled here in the early part of the present century.
