He owns 234 acres of land, all used for dairying purposes and hay. He comes of an old and well known family of historic fame, his grandfather on his mother's side having served in the Revolution, and his father in the war of 1812. Mr. Bellinger is well known throughout this part of the State, and is a Mason, a member of the Grange and of the Royal Arcanum. He has been commissioner of highways for three years and was assessor for three years. He cast his first vote against the first Harrison, and has been a Democrat ever since, and has never missed but one town meeting.
