Carden, Frank E., Little Falls, was born in Little Falls, December 5, 1866.  
He received a good education, after which he clerked for several years and 
railroaded.  On March 15, 1889, he and his brother, Harry Carden, bought out 
the bottling establishment of Smith & Collins, since which time they have most 
successfully conducted the business under the firm name of Carden Brothers.  
They are equal owners in the establishment, and are both energetic and 
enterprising young business men.  They employ men and run teams and deliver 
the bottled goods all over Herkimer county.
