In 1859 he married Julia Campbell, and they have one daughter, who married Harvey Rankin in 1886. Mr. Casler is one of the prominent farmers of Little Falls. He owns 230 acres of land used for dairy purposes and hay. He has been eight times elected assessor of the town, and so will have held the office continually for twenty-four years when he completes his present term. He is an out-and-out Democrat and belongs to the Masonic order, in which he is a Knight Templar.
