Author: Hardin & Willard

Clive, Henry, German Flats, is a native of England, and traces his ancestry to 
the celebrated Lord Clive.  He was born February 11, 1844, and came to America 
in 1864.  He as been in the Armory for many years and is a Mason, and a member 
of the United Friends.  In 1861 Mr. Clive married Emma Wall and they have 10 
children.  The Clives were among the first gunmakers of England.
