He is one of the recognized leading farmers of the county, liberal- minded and intelligent, and in addition to farming 200 acres of land -- his own property -- also gives considerable attention to bees, of which he has about forty hives. In 1870 he married Amy Keyser, and they have two children, Belle L. and Grace L., the former nineteen, and the latter fourteen years of age. The family are members of the Universalist Church. Mr. Eaton is a Republican in politics, and liberal in his views.
