He is of German ancestry, the family three generations back having settled in this town. They participated in the War of the Revolution and in 1812, and have since been identified with the best interests of the community. Mr. Eysaman owns a dairy farm of 180 acres, including a fine orchard and buildings. His wife was Mary E. Smith, of Herkimer county, by whom he has three children, a son and two daughters. Mr. Eysaman has filled a number of acceptable local offices, such as assessor, etc. He is a member of the Presbyterian church.
