Author: Hardin & Willard

Harter, P. P., Herkimer, is a native of Herkimer, and was born August 28, 1826.
He has been a farmer all of his life, and has resided nearly all that time on 
his present farm. His father and grandfather before him lived on this farm. He 
married Miss May Kest, and they have two sons, Edwin and Frank. Mr. Harter has 
sixty-four acres of dairy farm and fourteen cows. He has never belonged to any 
organization, but his son Frank is a member of the Grange.   They are all 
Democrats.
