His father was Richard Jones, a native of Wales. Mr. Jones has a large farm of 225 acres, under dairy and timber. He is a Republican in politics, and was commissioner of highways for six years. He is now serving his seventh year as assessor of the town. He has also been inspector of elections. Mr. Jones has two sisters living, Jennie Jones and Mrs. J.S. Davis.
