Author: Hardin & Willard

Powers, John F., German Flats, is a native of Utica and has been in Ilion 
since 1882.  He was a carriagemaker by trade, but has been in the wet goods 
business for several years. He is quite active in politics, is a member of the 
town committee and has been delegate to Democratic conventions several times. 
He is an Elk and a member of the Knights of Honor.
