Author: Hardin & Willard

Rankins, J. M., is a native of Little Falls. He was educated in the Utica 
Commercial College, from which he graduated in 1885. Five years ago he entered 
the M'Kinnon Mills as bookkeeper, and recently changed to the Saxony Mills, 
filling a similar position. He comes of an old and honorable family, his 
ancestors having lived in this State for many generations. His great-
grandfather participated in the Revolutionary war.   In politics he is a 
Republican, and is a member of the Royal Arcanum.
