Author: Hardin & Willard

Rasbach, G. O., German Flats, was born December 23, 1846, and studied law with 
Tomas Richardson after a preliminary education at Cazenovia Seminary.  He was 
admitted to the bar in 1876 and is one of the leading lawyers of this part of 
the county.  He was president of Ilion in 1890 and 1891 and is a prominent 
Democrat.  He is also a member of the Masonic fraternity and other local 
organizations.  In 1870 he married Caroline M. Roney, by whom he has had three 
sons, Charles I., George O., jr., and Earle J.
