Author: Hardin & Willard

Rasbach, John A., German Flats, was born in Herkimer October 3, 1839, and was 
engaged in the flour and feed business for many years and also in 
speculating.  About a year ago he opened a first-class laundry in Ilion.  He 
is well and favorably known in Ilion, and is treasurer of the Water Commission 
and an active Democrat.  He is a Mason and a member of the Little Falls 
Commandery, also of the Royal Arcanum.  In 1862 he married Miss Sarah E. Owen, 
and they have two sons, Frank B. and Sanford A.
