Author: Hardin & Willard

Rasback, William C., Herkimer, was born in Herkimer, September 27, 1822.  He 
has been a farmer all his life.  His father lived here and his grandfather 
took part in the Revolutionary War as a boy, while his great-grandfather took 
a soldier's part.  Mr. Rasback owns ninety-four acres of land and keeps twenty 
head of cattle.  He has been twice married, first when twenty-two years of age 
and again at forty-five.  His present wife is Mary, daughter of Sanford 
Eysaman.  In politics Mr. Rasback is a liberal Democrat.  He has no children. 
His first wife was M. E. Harter, all of which family are now dead.
