Charles S., Little Falls, pastor of the Little Falls Presbyterian church, was born in Pitsford, N.Y., February 7, 1845, and after a preliminary education graduated at Hobart College in the class of '65. He then taught school three years, and entered upon a course at Auburn, N.Y., Theological Seminary, graduating in 1871. Hethen went abroad for foreign travel, and for three years taught in the American College on the Bosphorus, near Constantinople. In the winter of 1874 he journeyed through the Holy Land and Egypt. On his return from the East he was called to the pastorate of the Maloe (N.Y.) Presbyterian church, where he remained thirteen years. He was called to Little Falls, N.Y., as pastor of the First Presbyterian church in 1888. In his college course Mr. Richardson was a high honor man, and his career since has been very successful.
