His father was George Scriber, and his grandfather was one of the old Mohawk Dutch. His mother was also of the same origin. Mr. Scriber is a Mason, a member of the Royal Arcanum, the A.O.U.W. and the Baptist church. He has been treasurer of the village and school trustee.
