He was born in Herkimer in 1825, and has been a farmer all of his life. He married Emily Ackerman, and they have six children living. His son Henry is living with him and now owns the dairy farm of 103 acres. He is a promising young agriculturist. Both are Democrats. They have lived on their present farm for five years. They formerly lived in Danube, where Peter B. was overseer of the poor for some time, and Henry Seeber was town clerk for three years. The family have been in this part of the county for over one hundred years. Some of the ancestors of the family were prominent in the Revolutionary war.
