He received an excellent education in the schools of that vicinity, and came to Little Falls about 1881. Here he at first engaged in the saloon business for a few years, disposing of this he entered the employ of the Baileys as a master machinist, where he continued for four years and seven months. Then in September, 1891, he established his present business, which is one of the largest and best livery concerns in the village. Mr. Seeley married Catharine Shall, and they have one daughter. His ancestors participated in the Revolutionary war and also that of 1812.
