He was educated in the Fairfield and Cazenovia Seminaries; studied medicine in the University of Vermont and the Long Island College Hospital, of Brooklyn, N.Y., graduating from the latter institution in 1888. After practicing for a few months in Pennsylvania he settled in Dolgeville, where he now enjoys a large and lucrative practice. He married Nora L. Brown of this county.
