Author: Hardin & Willard

Wakeman, Ward, Little Falls, a farmer, resides about three miles north of the 
village of Little Falls, and was born on the old Wakeman homestead, adjoining 
his present home.  His grandfather came from Connecticut about the year 1800, 
and the family has resided here ever since.  His father's name was J.B. 
Wakeman.  Ward Wakeman married Ella J. Skinner, who died July, 1891.
