Author: Hardin & Willard

Western, Benjamin E., Norway, was born in Norway May 12, 1840. He is a son of 
Joseph and Hannah Western.  Benjamin E. was educated in the common schools.  
He is a farmer and lumberman.  His wife is Sarah M. Wood, a native of Ohio, 
and a daughter of Wheelock and Hannah Wood, who have four sons and six 
daughters.  The children of Benjamin E. Western are:  Jennie, Charlie, Cylvina 
and Walter.  Mr. Western is a Democrat.  He and his wife are members of the M. 
E. Church at Black Creek.
