Author: Hardin & Willard

Wood, B. W., assistant postmaster of West Schuyler, is a native of this town, 
and a son of Harvey Wood. His grandfather was Benjamin Wood, and his great-
grandfather, Thomas Wood, who came from Massachusetts in 1770. The family is 
one of the oldest in the town, and Mr. Harvey Wood was town clerk for many 
years. Mr. B. W. Wood conducts a general business in West Schuyler, and is 
assistant postmaster.
