Reid This Indenture made the twenty ninth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight Between William Allen of the town of Remson County of Oneida and State of New York and Amel his wife of the first part and Sheffield Kinyon of the town of Fairfield in the County Herkimer and State New York of the second part Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in the consideration of the sum of Five hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged have granted bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part in his actual possession now being and to his heirs and assigns forever All that certain tract piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the town of Russia and County Herkimer and State aforesaid and being part of Lot Number forty four in Remsenburgh Patent and is butted and bounded as follows viz Beginning on a beach tree on the south west corner of Lot Number forty four thence North seventy three degrees East forty seven chains twenty five links to a stake thence North seventeen Degrees West twenty one chains and seventeen links to a beach tree marked thence south seventy three Degrees West forty seven chains and twenty five links to a spruce tree marked thence South Seventeen Degrees East twenty one chains and seventeen links to the place of beginning containing one hundred acres of Land Together with all and singular the hereditements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest claims or demands whatsoever of the sd parties of the first part either in law or Equity of in and to the above bargained premises with sd hereditements and appurtenances to have and to hold the sd hundred acres of Land to the sd party of the second part his heirs and assigns to his sole & only proper use benefit and behoof of the party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever And the sd parties of the first part for themselves their heirs executors & administrators Doth covenant grant bargain promise & agree to & with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the sd party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part of the above mentioned & described premises will forever Warrant & Defend. In witness whereof the sd parties of these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands & seals the day & year above first above written.
