Reid This Indenture, made the twenty sixth day of April in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty Between Sheffield Kinyon and Polly his wife of Fairfield County of Herkimer and State of New York of the first part and Lyman S. Kinyon of the same place of the second part Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for an in consideration of the sum of Five hundred dollars Lawful money of the State of New York to them in hand paid at as before the ensealing and delivery of these presents by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath granted barained sold aliened remised released conveyed assured enfeoffed and confirmed, and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release convey assure enfeoff and confirm fully freely and absolutely unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever ALL that certain piece or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the town of Fairfield & County of Herkimer it being part of Lot No. five in the first allotment of the Royal Grant, Bounded as follows towit Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot No. Six and runs Thence east on the south line of sd Lot no. Six to the Land now owned by George Parkis thence south to the Lands owned by Silas Dexter thence west to the west Canada Creek and thence up the stream of said Creek to the first mentioned bounds containing thirty acres of Land including highways. Together with all and singular the appurtenances privileges and advantages whatsoever unto the said above mentioned and described premises in any wise appertaining or belonging and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof and also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said party of the first part of in and to the same or any part or parcel thereof with the appurtenances To have and to hold the above granted bargained and described premises with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns for their own proper use benefit and behoof forever. And the said parties of the first part for their heirs executors and administrators do covenant promise grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns the above bargained premises to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons Lawfully claiming or to claim the whole or any part of the above mentioned and described premises to Warrant and defend forever by these presents In Witness whereof the said parties of the first part hereunto set their hand and seal the day and year first above written Sheffield Kinyon Sealed and delivered in the presence of J. Steele State of New York County of Herkimer ss: On the Ninth day of April in the year one thousand eight hundred and twenty five before me Stephen Ayres Commissioner for taking acknowledgements he came Sheffield Kenyon to me known to be the person described in and who executed the within deed who duly acknowledged that he did execute the same for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
