Reid To all People to whom thes Presents shall come Greeting know ye that I Elijah Slosson of Fairfield in the County of Herkimer and State of New York for the consideration four hundred dollars to me in hand paid by Sheffield Kinyon of sd Fairfield the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge myself fully satisfied contented and paid have given granted bargained sold alined enfeoffed conveyed confined and by these presents do give grant bargain sell aline enfeoff convey and confirm unto him the said Sheffield Kinyon his heirs and assigns forever On certain piece of land situate and lying and being part of lot number five in the first allotment of the Royal Grant buted and bounded as follows: Beginning at the South west corner of lot number Six and runs thence East o the South line of said lot number Six to the land now owned by George Parkis thence South to the land owned by Nathan Parkis thence west to the west Canada Creek and from thence up the stream of said creek, to the first mentioned bounds containing thirty acres including highway To have and to hold the said Ground and bargained premises with the appurtenances privileges and commodities to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining to himthe said Sheffield Kinyon his heirs and assigns forever to his and others proper use benefit and behoof forever And I the said Elijah Slosson for myself my heirs executors and administrators do covenant promise and grant and with the said Sheffield Kinyon his heirs and assigns that at and before the insealing of these presents he was the true sole and lawful owner of the above bargained premises and was lawfully seized and possessed of the same in his own right as a good perfect and absolute estate of inheritance in fee simple and have in himself good right full power and Lawful authority to grant bargain sell and convey and confirm the said bargained premises in manner aforesaid and that the said Sheffield Kinyon his heirs and assigns shall and may from time to time and at all times hereafter even by force and virtue of these presents lawfully peaceably and quietly have hold and occupy possess and enjoy the said demised and bargained premises with the appurtenances free and clear and freely and clearly accepted exonerated and discharged of and from all and all manner of former and other gifts grants bargains sales leases Mortgages wills entail, Jointures dowerys judgments executions incumbrances of what name or nature soever that might in any measure or degree obstruct or make voice these presents deed And I Margaret Slosson wife to the said Elijah Slosson for the same consideration paid to my husband as aforesaid do hereby remise release and forever quit claim and confirm unto him the said Sheffield Kinyon your heirs and assigns against the lawful claim or demand of any person or persons whatsoever to Warrant and defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said parties Elijah Slosson and Margaret Slosson have hereunto set our hands and seals this eighteenth day April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten Elijah Slosson ss Margaret Slosson ss her mark In presents of John Sapene Andrew A. Bartow New York ss on the eighteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred ten came before me one of the masters of chancery for the State of New York Elisa Slosson and Margaret his wife known to me by the oath of John Snow to me know and the said Elisa acknowledged that he executed the within deed and the said Margaret being by me examined separate and apart from her husband acknowledged that she executed the same freely and without any fear or compulsion from her said husband and having examined the same I do allow Abv recorded Andrew A.
