This Indenture Made the third day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three Between William Watson of the town of Fairfield and County of Herkimer of the first part and Sheffield Kinyon of the town of Fairfield in said County of the second part witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and sixty two Dollars to me in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof is hereby confessed and acknowledged; Hath granted, bargained sold remised released aliened and confirmed: And by these presents, do grant, bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever All Certain piece or parcel of land situate and Lying and being in the Town of Fairfield in the County of Herkimer being part of Lots Number thirty six and thirty seven in the second Allotment of the Royal Grant and is bounded as Follows Beginning on the south line of lot number thirty seven Ninety four rods and a half rod from the South east corner thereof and runs from thence north one hundred and fifty six rods to a sapling and stones on the north line of said Lot thence west on said line Eighty three rods and ten links thence South two hundred and sixteen rods thence west to the West Canada Creek nine rods and ten links thence down the said Creek to the Creek on which Sheldings Mills now stands thence up said Mill Creek East Twenty five degrees and fifteen minutes North thirteen rods and three links thence South three and a half Degrees East Eleven rods thence south fifty mine degrees east thirteen rods thence north three Degrees and twenty minutes West Sixty Seven rods thence West thirty rods and twenty links to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred acres of Land ..Together with all and singular the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining; and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents issues and profits thereof; And all the estate right titles interest claim or demands whatsoever, of the said party of the first part, either in law or equity, of in and to the above bargained premises, with the said hereditaments and appurtenances. To have and to hold the said bargained premises. Note it is understood between the parties that four and a half acres or thereabouts which have heretofore bin conveyed to Abner Post by the late Peleg Kinyon Deceased of the Northeast Corner of the above described are not to be considered as included in this conveyance. The remainder of the premises conveyed unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, to the sole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part for himself heirs executors and administrators doth covenant, grant bargain promise and agree to and with the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns that the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns against all and every person or persons Lawfully claiming or to Claim the whole or any part of the said above mentioned and described premises, will forever Warrant and defend. In witness whereof, the parties of these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals, the day and year first above written. William Watson Sealed and Delivered in the presents of an erasure in the seventeenth twenty first and twenty second lines before signed John Comins Peter Kilsey Herkimer County ss: on the 17th day of June 1808 before me Westel Willoughby Junior one of the Judges of Herkimer Com. Pleas came William Watson know to me and he acknowledged he executed the within Deed having examined said Deed & finding no material errors or interlineations save those noted I do allow the same to be recorded Westel Willoughby Junr.
