The ceremony took place secretly Nov. 19 in New Hartford. Leon Nitz, East Herkimer, and Florence Zucker, also of East Herkimer, were witnesses to the civil ceremony. Mrs. Herkel is a graduate of Herkimer high school, class of 1930, and is now employed as office nurse by Dr. James Gallo. Mr. Herkel is connected with the Massey-Harris Co., Michigan tractor makers, in the East Herkimer agency of which Seymour Legg is representative. He also attended Herkimer high school. [This is from an old scrapbook, the date penciled on it is Jan 4 - 33 (Jan 4, 1933). My guess is that is is from the Evening Telegram newspaper, published in Herkimer, NY.]
