FRANK WALRAD, 78, DIES AFTER ILLNESS Lifelong Resident of This Village and Salisbury, Passes at Home on Steuben Road - Funeral Sunday Mrs. Frank Walrad, 78, lifelong resident of this village and Salisbury, died this morning at 10 o'clock at her home, 515 Steuben road. She had been ill since Christmas. Mrs. Walrad, who before her marriage was Miss Annie Nabinger of Salisbury, was born in that place and spent her girlhood there. After coming to Herkimer she became active in the Reformed church, of which she was a member and was beloved by friends and neighbors. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. George Francis, Middleville; William Walrad, Herkimer; Katherine McDermott, New York City; Mrs. Glenn Steele, Folts street; Mrs. George Fenner, Utica; Mrs. Ruby O'Hara, Rome, and Miss Hilda Walrad at home. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 in the family home with Rev. Tunis W. Prins, pastor of the Reformed church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. [This is from an old scrapbook, the date penciled on it is May 19 -33 (May 19, 1933). My guess is that it is from the Evening Telegram newspaper, published in Herkimer, NY.]
