FRANCES WOODRICK, ILL THREE MONTHS, DIES Was Born in Newport and Spent Early Life There, Later Moving to This Village Death removed a lifelong resident of Herkimer county last night at her home, 309 East German street with the passing of Mrs. Frances Woodrick. Death followed an illness of three months. Mrs. Woodrick was born in Newport, where she spent the early years of her life, being educated in the public schools there. After her marriage to George Woodrick, she moved to Herkimer, where she has since resided. The deceased was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Church and the Rosary Society connected with that church. She had a wide acquaintance and was held in high esteem by the many who knew her. Surviving, besides her husband, is a son, George Woodrick, jr.; two sisters, Mrs. Eugene West, Syracuse, and Miss Margaret Crogan, Syracuse, and also by three grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 from the house and at 9:30 from St. Francis de Sales Church, Rev. D. J. McCarthy officiating. Interment will be made at Newport. [This is from an old scrapbook, the date penciled on it is May 18 -33 (May 18, 1933). My guess is that it is from the Evening Telegram newspaper, published in Herkimer, NY.]
