Nicholas Aldridge
probated: 27 May 1809

In the name of God Amen I, Nicholas Aldridge of the town of German Flatts in
the County of Herkimer, being of sound disposing mind and memory do make this
my last will and testament as follows.

First. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Polly Aldridge twenty Guineas
to be paid unto her by my Executors hereinafter named after my decease. Also I
give unto my said wife six silver tea spoons marked N.M.A. Also the feather
Bed usually clalled mine witht he Bed furniture to the same belonging the side
saddle usualy my wives and a tea server and new looking glass which I lately
purchased to be at her sole and entire disposal forever.

Second I appoint my son Joshua B. Aldridge and my trusty beloved friend friend
Gaylord Griswold, Esquire to be Executors and Trustees of this my last will
and testament. And I devise to them their heirs and assigns forever as joint
Tenants and notas Tenants in common all the last and residue of my Estate real
and personal not above disposed of whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be
upon Trust at their discretion to sell and dispose of the same or any part
thereof at such time and times in such manner and upon such terms as they or
the survivor of them shall think fit and out of the proceeds thereof to pay
all debts that I shall owe at the time of my decease and the residue of any
there shall be after paying my said debts and the primary legacy above given
to divide qually betwest my wife and my four infant children, Clarissa,
Adoline, Norman & Morris - share and share alike and I do hereby appoint my
said executors Joshua B. Aldridge and Gaylord Griswold Guardians of my said
four infant children till they shall respective by arise to the age of Twenty
one years.

In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Twelfth day of
July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and five. Signed
Sealed published and declared as and for his last will and Testament in our
presence wo have subscribed the same as witnesses in his presence.
