Second- I direct that all of my Funeral and Third- Burial Expenses be paid. Fourth- I give and bequeath and devise to my Wife Sophia Moon in lieu of her dower right the full use and possession of my home lot where I now reside with the house and buildings and appurtenances thereto- belonging including the privileges of water as now enjoyed by me; said home lot being the premises better known as the old Hotel Lot- for her sole use and possession so long as she shall remain my widow. I also give and bequeath to my said Wife Sophia Moon the Interest of Five Thousand Dollars: which said sum I direct and order to be deposited in some place of safety- and that the interest thereon be paid to her in each and every year from date of my decease, so long as she shall remain my widow. I also give and bequeath to my said wife Sophia Moon, the use of all household Furniture, Books, and Pictures, and of my Phaeton wagon horse halter and harness and all wood and fuel prepared for use that may be on my premises at my deceased; She is to have and possess such hereinbefore named goods, and chattels, rights and interests in lieu of her dower rights- so long as she shall remain my widow. Fifth- I give and bequeath to my following named children to wit: Eliza Wiggins, Martha Payne, Nancy Payne, and Cameron Moon the sum of Five dollars to each. Sixth- I give and bequeath to Martha daughter of my son John the sum of Fifty- Dollars in place of and for the purpose of buying and giving her a Cow. Seventh- I give and bequeath to my son William W Moon and Samuel P. Moon and devise unto them at the decease of my wife Sophia Moon or when she shall cease to be my widow the aforementioned home lot or hotel lot and the appurtenances thereof to be equally held and shared between my said two sons. Eighth- I give and bequeath and devise all of the remainder of my real and personal Estate not thereinbefore or thereinafter disposed of to my following named children to wit: Eliza Wiggins, Martha Payne, Nancy Payne and Cameron Moon to have the said Five dollars each as thereinbefore stated and that balance of my said real and personal Estate so undisposed of hereinbefore or hereinafter to be equally shared by my following named children to wit: Sylvia Dygert- Matilda Gordon- Jefferson Moon Jr., Emeline P. Moon, John Moon, William W. Moon and Samuel P. Moon at the deceased of my wife Sophia Moon or when she shall cease to be my widow my large family Bible, my writing desk and large Steelyards. Tenth- I give and bequeath to my daughters Nancy Payne, Martha Payne, Sylvia Dygert, Matilda Gordon, and Eliza Wiggins all of my household furniture at the decease of my wife or when she shall cease to by my widow to be equally shared between my said daughters. Eleventh- I give, bequeath, and devise unto my said wife Sophia Moon the full use and possession so long as she shall remain my widow of my house as collage upon the Camp Meeting grounds in the Town of Trenton in Oneida County. Twelfth- I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Sophia Moon to be Executrix and my sons Williiam W. Moon and Samuel P. Moon to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament: hereby revoking all other wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Ninth day of January in the Year of our Lord one Thousand eight-hundred and seventy five.
