Henry Bradford Pierson was born in Jefferson County in 1834. He served in the Civil War from 1864 to 1865 with the 20th Regiment, New York Cavalry, organized out of Sackett's Harbor in 1863. Frances and Harold Williams were the children of Frank "Harley" and Cora Pierson Williams and were born in Belleville. Their Grandparents were George and Anna Bush Williams who were born in England in 1834 and 1838, immigrated to the United States, settling in Ellisburgh in Jefferson County, NY. They had a large family and their children's names were Marsha, Mary, Lydia, Charles, George, Harley, Clara, and Rosa. Frances Pierson Williams married Ronald Bradford Cowell in 1938 in Oyster Bay, New York, and eventually settled permanently in Daytona Beach, Florida. Harold Williams married Dorothy Weldon and they settled in Woodville, NY. They ran a general store, Sunnydale General Store, raised Springer Spaniels, and Dorothy published a monthly newsletter called The Sunnydale Times.
