Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Thurs.; Immaculate Conception Church (his son, the Rev. 
Robert P. Himes, officiated)
Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery (Rose Tshp.)
Suvivors: two sons and four daughters:  Father Robert P. Himes of Grandview, 
WA; Michael A. Himes of Charleston, SC; Sister Mary Andrew Himes, R.S.M. of 
Erie; Dorothy O'Connell of Enfield, CN; Mrs. Robert (Joanna) Spazzarini of 
Huntsville, AL; and Mrs. Bernard (Sheila) Fiscus of Lake City.  Also 20 
grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers:  Reuben Himes of 
Coudersport and Joe A. Himes of Newark, OH; five sisters:  Mrs. David (Mary) 
Taylor of Erie, Mrs. Frank (Betty) Hetrick of Brookville, Mrs. Ben (Ariel) 
Edwards of Brooksville, FL; Mrs. George (Mabel) Boyd of Brooksville, FL; Mrs. 
Irvin (Helen) McAninch of Brooksville, FL; and one niece, Pat Feldman of 
Brookville.
Preceded in death parents, wife, a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Eugenia ) Alaimo 
and a brother, James Edward Himes.

[NOTE:  This obituary was found in the effects of Helen Jane (Darrin) 
Sonnekalb Himes, my grand-aunt, who was married to Reuben Laverne Himes.  H.R. 
Himes is NOT related to me but a brother of my grand-uncle by marriage and 
posted as information for others.  Brookville is located in Jefferson County 
PA; Parents were Edward Jerome & Kitty Belle (Hughes) Himes   as provided by 
Reuben L. Himes]
