LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF Charles G. Frink
  Be it remembred that heretofore, to wit, on the First day of April in the year 
of our lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy three Erwin F. Ramsdell of 
Adams, Jefferson County, New York Executor named in the Last Will and Testament 
of Charles G. Frink late of the town of Adams in the County of Jefferson, 
deceased; appeared in open Court before the Surrogate of the County of Jefferson 
and made application to have the said last Will and Testament which relates to 
both Real and Personal Estate, proved, and on such application the said 
Surrogate did ascertain by satisfactory evidence who were the widow, heirs at 
law and next of kin of the said testator, and their respective residences, and 
they are as follows viz:  Jane M. Smith of Adams aforesaid only child of said 
testator and Mary N. Frink widow of said testator of Adams aforesaid, both of 
said persons being of full age, and said Surrogate did thereupon issue a 
citation in due form of law; directed to the widow and heirs at law and next of 
kin of the said testator by their respective names stating their respective 
places of residence and requiring them to appear before said Surrogate at his 
office in th City of Watertown in said County, on the 1st day of May A.D. 1873 
to attend the Probate of said Will.
  And afterwards, to wit. on the 1st day of May A.D. 1873 satisfactory evidence 
by affidavit was produced and presented to said Surrogate, of the due service of 
said citation in the mode prescribed by law, and on that day, no one appearing 
to oppose the Probate of such Will, such proceedings were thereupon had in said 
Court afterwards, that the said Surrogate took the proofs of said Will 
hereinafter set forth, upon this 1st day of May A.D. 1873 and he thereupon 
adjudged the said Will to be a valid Will of Real and Personal Estate, and the 
proofs thereof to be sufficient, which said last Will and Testament and proofs, 
are hereinafter recorded in this book.

Charles G. Frink Estate Will
  In the name of God amen  I Charles G. Frink of the Town of Adams in the County 
of Jefferson, and state of New York of the age of Seventy three years, and being 
of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last will and 
testament in manner following that is to say

First I give and bequeath to my wife Mary N. Frink all my property both Real and 
Personal of any kind name and nature whatsoever Whereof I shall die possessed 
and seized or have interest therein to have and to hold in her own right and to 
her own use and benefit absolute, deducting however therefore sufficient to pay 
my funeral expenses and all outstanding debts and claims that exist or may exist 
against me at my decease.

Second I hereby nominate and appoint Erwin Fuller Ramsdell of Adams, Jefferson 
County N.Y. sole executor of this my last Will and Testament and in case of his 
death or inability to act therein that execute I hereby appoint & nominate 
Norman Wood of Adams aforesaid executor of this my last will and testament.
Lastly I further empower and appoint my said executor (or executors) and it is 
my will and do hereby direct & authorize my said Executor (or executors) to sell 
on my decease at a time within his discretion at public or private sale as he 
shall deem most expedient and to the best advantage, all my estate both Real and 
personal whereof I shall die possessed or seized or shall have interest therein 
for cash or good securities and from the avails thereof fast to pay my Funeral 
Expenses and all Lawful debts and the remainder and the whole thereof afore said 
property to be paid over to my said wife as by terms of this will provided.  And 
for that purpose I do fully empower my said Executor (or Executors) and 
authorize and direct him to execute Deed or Deeds or Conveyances of transfer and 
sale of all my said Real Estate on such sale or thereafter to the person or 
persons to whom the same shall be by heir so sold.  And to give and grant in his 
name as good title and possess all the powers requsite thereto which I might or 
could have in my life time thereby confirming all his acts under this will by 
him so performed.

And I hereby revoke all former wills by me made.  In witness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal this Twenty sixth day of December in the year of 
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy two.

Subscribed by Charles G. Frink named in the foregoing will in our presence and 
presence of each other and at the time of making such subscription declared by 
this Testator to be his last will and testament and each of us sign his name as 
a witness at the end of the will at the request of the testator and in his 
presence.
