OLIVER ELMER'S WILL 
State of New York
Jefferson County: S.S.

Be it remembered, that on the 14th day of May in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred thirty three personally appeared before me Benjamin
Wright, Surrogate at the County of Jefferson aforesaid John D. Clark one of
the Subscribing witnesses to the will of Oliver Elmer late of the town of
Henderson in the said County of Jefferson deceased who being duly sworn did
depose and say that he saw the said Oliver Elmer deceased, subscribe the
instrument here annexed and impressed with the seal of Office of the said
Surrogate, which said  instrument purports to be the last will and testament
of the Said Oliver Elmer deceased and which said Will is in the words &
figures following to wit.  

"In the name of God Amen I Oliver Elmer of the town of Henderson, County of
Jefferson and State of New York being weak in body but of sound and perfect
mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life blessed be
almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament
in manner and form following (to wit)  First I give and bequeath unto my
beloved wife Delight Elmer twenty acres of Land Lying in the town of
Henderson, being the west part of subdivision of Lot No 4 on Great Lot No. 12. 
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the sixth day of
September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred twenty seven.
