LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Dr. Elliott B. Dupes, a skilled chiropodist, of Brooklyn, N.Y., who had been 
practicing his profession at Altoona, for two or three weeks, died at the St. 
Lawrence hotel, that city, at an early hour on Friday morning, of pneumonia, 
in the 45th year of his age.
