This is a transcription of my great, great, grandmothers
death notice. Sally Ann (Covert) Smith- 9/5/1812-8/23/1843. It's from a
badly stained clipping that was pasted to the bottom of a letter.

On Sunday the 20th inst., At Canterbery, Orange County. Sally Ann, wife of D. W. 
Smith in the 31st year of her age.

The friends and acquaintances, and the members of Atlantic Lodge, No 50 I. O. 
of O. F., and the order in general are respectfully invited to attend her funeral, 
Tuesday afternoon, at halfpast 2 o'clock, from her late residence, No 97 Middagh 
st., Brooklyn L. I.
