J. Christsee, Surrogate In the name of God Amen, I Ruey C. Aldrich of the city of Brooklyn in the county of Kings and state of New York, mindful of the uncertainties of life and the certainties of death, and being of sound mind and memory, do make publish and declare this my last Will and testament in manner following that is to say. First: I recommend my soul to God who gave it, and desire that my body be decently buried. Second: After the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses I give and bequeath to my husband Louis H. Aldrich and my son Bishop L. Aldrich, also my son Arthur C. Aldrich all my personal property of whatsoever kind it may be to be divided equally between them share and share alike. Third: I give and bequeath to my husband Louis H. Aldrich, my sons Bishop L. and Arthur C. Aldrich all my real estate to be divided equally between them share and share alike. Fourth: I desire that my executor whom I hereinafter shall not cause to be paid to my sons Bishop L. and Arthur C. Aldrich their portions of real and personal property until they arrive at years of discretion or majority. Fifth and lastly: I hereby nominate and appoint my husband Louis H. Aldrich the executor of this my last will and testament and hereby authorized and empower him the said Louis H. Aldrich to compound compromise and settle any claim or demand which may be against or in favor of my estate. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of April in the year of our Lord 1880. Ruey C. Aldrich (L.S.)
