Item I give grant devise and bequeath unto My wife Aeltkie for and during her Natural Life all my Houses Lands Gardens Orchards Meadows and hereditaments in possession Reversion Remainder Either within the Township of fflattLands Aforesaid or Elsewhere To Have And To Hold All My said Houses and Lands as Afore after my decease for and During the Natural life of my said Wife Aelkie her the said Alkie always Provided that if my said Wife aelkie at Any time after my decease shall happen to Remarry then at the day of Remarriage or death of My said Wife Aelkie which shall first happen after My decease I do hereby grant devise and bequeath unto my Children by names Paulus John Albert Isaack Jacobus Marike Catharine Auke Gerabrach and Aelkie and to their heirs and assigns forever on Equal proportion to be Divided between them all my houses Lands Tenements Gardens Orchards Meadows and hereditaments in possession Reversion or Remainder Either within the Township of fflatlands aforesaid or Elsewhere To have and To Hold all my said Houses Lands and premises as before Exprest and in Manner as aforesaid unto my said Children by Names Paulus John Albert Isaac Jacobus Marike and Catharine Auke Gerebrash and Aelkie their heirs and assigns forever in Equal Proportion to be divided between them without any Advantage to be taken of Survivoourship and in case any of my said Children dye without Issue then his or their Share to fall upon the Survivours in Equal Proportion and further it is my Will that upon the Remarriage of My said Wife Aelkie all my Estate as [...] to be Delivered to my Eldest Son Paulus To have [...] Pounds over and above three Pounds Share with the Rest and further if my said Wife Comes to Remarry then it is my Will that my said Wife Aelkie shall have five pounds in Money Yearly and Every Year So Long as She Lives to be paid her by all my said Children Equally in the first Day of May Yearly Item I give grant devise and bequeath unto my said Loving Wife Aelhie for and during her Natural Life or Remarriage which first shall happen all my Goods and Chattells Rights and Credits whatsoever or Wheresoever the same are or shall become due and on the Day of her Death or Remarriage of my said Wife Aelkie I do hereby give Devise and Bequeath unto my said Children by Names Paulus John Albert Isaack Jacobus Marike Catharina Auke Gerrebrack and Aelkie All My Goods and Chattells [...] and Credits as above In Equal Proportion to be Divided between them and to their Executors and Assign forever And Lastly I do hereby Make and Ordain My Loving Wife Aelkie Whole and Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Derick Amertman have hereunto put my hand and seal the Day and Year first above Written. Captain General and Governour in Chief of the Precinct of New York New Jersey and Territories thereon Depending in America And Vice Admiral of the same To All To Whom these presents shall Come or May Concern Greeting Know Yea that at New York the first Day of ffebruary Instant the Last Will and Testament of Derrick Amerman was proved approved and allowed of by me having whil he lived and at the time of his Death Goods Chattells and Credits in diverse places within this province by Means whereof the full Disposition of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the said Deceased and the granting Administration of them also the hearing of Account Calculation or Reckoning and the final discharge and Dismission from the same unto Me Soly and not unto any other Inferiour Judge and Manifestly known to belong and the Administration of all and Singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the Said Deceased and his Last Will and Testament in Any Manner of ways Concerning Was granted unto Aelkie Amerman the Executrix in the said Last Willl and Testament Named Chiefly of Well and truly Administring the same and of Making a true and perfect Inventory of All and Singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the said Deceased And Exhibitting the same into the Registry of the Prerogative Court in the Secretarys Office of the said Province of New York at or before the first Day of August Next Ensueing and of Rendring a Just & true Account of said Administration when thereunto Required In Testimony Whereof I have [...] the prereogative Seal of of[sic] the said province of New York to be hereunto affixed at New York this ffirst day of ffebruary Anno Dom 1723.
