Imprimis, I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body to the Earth ot be buried in a decent & christian like manner at the discression [sic discretion] of my Executors herein after named and as to that worldly Estate wherein wit hath pleased God to bless me with I do hereby will & dispose thereof in manner & form following Item. I give devise and bequeath unto my dear & loving wife Sarah the sum of twenty five Pounds lawful Money of the Province of New York (my just debts and funeral charges being first deducted and paid). Item. I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife Sarah all use Incomes & Profits of all that my Farm and real Estate I now possess in conjunction with my son barent to whom I lately granted and sold the one full and equal half part thereof the whole in two equal Parts to be devised of be by her used occupied possessed and enjoyed and to take & receive the rents Issues and Profits thereof to and for her use for and during and as long as she shall remain and continue my widow and also two of my cows Item I give devise and bequeath unto my son Barent the sum of Forty Pounds lawful Money aforesaid I give devise and bequeath unto my son Arie the like sum of Forty Pounds lawfull Money aforesaid Item I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth the wife of Jacob Bennet the sum of Five Pounds lawful Money aforesaid Item I give devise and bequeath unto my Daughter Barbary the wife of Teunis Van Catts the like sum of Five Pounds. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah the wife of Abraham Vandervoort the like sum of Five Pounds lawfully Money aforesaid item my will and desire is and I do hereby order and direct that if in case if my heirs Executors or administrators any or eithe rof them should be compelled to pay or cause to be paid any sum or sums of Money for which I stand security for my aforesaid son Arie then the aforesaid Legacy and bequest hereby given & devised to my said son Arie shall be void and of none Effect anything herein contained to the contrary on any wise nothwithstanding. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my Grandson Peterus the son of John deceased the sum of one shilling lawfully Money aforesaid in full of all Claims or Demands and in Bar of all manner of Right or Pretence whatsoever which he shall or may claim or demaind as heir at law to my said Estate or any otherways howsever. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my son Petrus the like sum of one shilling lawfully Money aforesaid in full of all claims or demands and all pretences whatsoever which he shall or may claim to my said Estate. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my son Andries the like sum of one shilling lawfully Money afore said also in full of all claims or demands and in Bar of all manner of Right or Pretence whatsoever which he shall or may claim or demand ot my said Estate. Item I do hereby order & direct and give full Power and Authority to my Executors herein afternamed to sell and dispose by way of Auction publick Vendue or Outcry to the highest Bidder as soon as conveniently may be after my decease all my Pesonal Estate which I shall leave at the Tim eof my death for the payment of my Debts and Legacies aforesaid. Item all the rest and residue of my said Estate both real and personal I give devise and bequeath unto my sons John & William to be equally divided between them share and share alike to have and to hold the same unto them the said John & William their heirs and assigns forever But in case eithe rof them should die befor ehe arrive or come to the age of twenty one years then his part or share shall fall to and be the Property of the survivor his heirs and assigns forever But if my said sons John and William should both happen to die before they arrive to the said age of twenty one years then I do hereby give devise and bequeath the aforesaid rest & residue of my Estate hereby given & devised unto the said John and William unto my said Wife Sarah to hold unto my said wife Sarah her heirs Executors Administrators an dassigns forever and Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Brother in Law David Miller of Bushwyck aforesaid and my loving Friend Theodorus Polhemus Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other wills heretofore by me made declaring this to be my only and last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Peter Consellie have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of February in the eighty year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Brittain, France & Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight Peter (his mark PC) Consellie (LS) Signed sealed published and declared by the Testator to be his last will and Testament in the Presence of William Provoost, Abraham Cannon, Jno Roosevelt. Be it remembered that on the eleventh day of January one thousand seven hundred and seventy personally came and appeared before me John Bowles thereunto duly authorized John Roosevelt of Bushwick in Kings County, Esquire and being dul sworn on his Oath declared that he did see Peter Consellie make his hand mark to and seal the annexed Instrumetn purporting to be the Will of the said Peter Consellie bearing date the tenth day of February one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight and hear him publish and declare the same to be and contain his last will and Testament that all the time thereof he the said Peter Consellie was of sound disposing mind and memory to the best of Knowledge and belief of him the deponent and that his name subscribed to the said will is of hi sown proper hand writing which he subscribed as a witness to the said will in the Testators Presence and that he the deponent likewise saw William Provoost and Abraham Cannon the other witnesses to the said will subscribe their names as witnesses thereto in the presence of the Testators John Bowles Cadwallader Colden, Esquire his Majesty's Llieutenant Governor and Commander in Chief of the Province of New York and the Territories depending thereon in America, To all to whom these Presents shall come or may concern Greeting Know Ye that at the city of New York on the ay of the date hereof before John Bowles thereunto delegated and appointed the last will and Testament of Peter Consellie deceased (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed ) was proved and approved and allowed of by me the said - deceased having whilst he lived and at the time of his death Goods, Chattels and Credits within this Province by means whereof the proving and registring the said Will and the granting Administration of all and singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the account thereof doth belong unto me; and that administration of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased and any way concerning his will is granted unto David Miller and Theodorus Polhemus the Executors in the said will named being first duly sworn well and faithfully to administer the same and to make and exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the said Goods, Chattels and Credits and also to render a just and true account thereof when thereunto required.
