The Stowe Square Cemetery is located between two and three miles north of the
Village of Lowville just east of New York State Route 26.  At Wilcox Road, just
before the Farm Service Agency, turn East (the only direction you can turn) and
proceed down the one lane dirt road (which resembles a farm lane) approximately
300 yards to the cemetery that is located on the North side of Wilcox.

Additional Comments:
The Stowe Square Cemetery is a very old country cemetery that is in extreme need
of care.  My understanding is that it gets mowed once, possibly twice a year,
there are several old stones that need repair, and an old wrought iron fence
that surrounds what appears to be a very old family plot.  The view to the East
out over the river valley below is stunning.  Once the leaves come out on the
trees, it is doubtful if the view would be a beautiful.
