Williams From the: Lewis County Will Book 41, Page 312, Lowville, Lewis County, New York I, Evan E. Williams of Leyden in the state of New York being in the full possession of my Mental faculties do hereby make this my last Will and Testament. 1st I direct that my just debts be paid by my Executors, hereinafter named as soon after my death as may be by them be found convenient. 2nd I give and bequeath to my wife Ermy all my real & personal property to have and to hold for herself her heirs and assigns forever. 3rd I hereby appoint my wife Executrix and my son Robert executor of this will. In testimony whereof I hereto set my hand and seal this 20th day of August A. D. 1870. E. E. Williams signed, sealed and published as his last Will by the said Evan E. Williams in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of Each other have hereto subscribed our names as witnesses, Geo. F. Saxe Brooklyn, N.Y.; John Simon, Leyden, N.Y.; Charles C. Northam, Leyden, N.Y. County of Lewis as: Be it remembered that on the day of the date hereof the last Will and Testament of Evan E. Williams late of the town of Leyden, County of Lewis, N.Y. deceased (being the foregoing written instrument was duly proved before Carlos P. Scovil, County Judge and Ex-officio Surrogate of said County according to law as and for the last will and testament of the real and personal estate of said deceased which said last Will and Testament and the proofs and examinations taken thereon are recorded in this office. In testimony whereof the County Judge of said County hath hereinto let his hand and affixed the Surrogate Seal of said County at Lowville this Seventh day of November in the year of our lord one thousand eight-hundred and seventy.
