28 Oct 1839 EVELIN EGGLESTON, now of the town of Springwater, county of Livingston, sold to 
SOLOMON K. CHAMBERLIN of same town for $140 a parcel of land in Springwater being the one equal 
one tenth part of about 73 acres of land now in possession of AMOS ROOT being the same land the fee 
simple of which being owned or claimed by the party of the first part as heir of SAMUEL EGGLESTON, 
deceased late of said town, being part of Lot 147 in the 5th range of Townhsip 7. Is seized of the premesis 
above conveyed as of a good sure perfect absolute and indefeasible estate of inheritance. Signed EVELIN
