Promissory Note: "Jon (John) Vallre promise 
to pay Abel B. Harris or bearer the sum of fifty dollars to paid by the first 
day of January next with ?? witness my hand groveland, June the 4th 1825" 

Additional Comments:
Written on the envelope is the name of James Harris who is Abel's son who 
lived in Florence, Oneida County, NY. Abel B. Harris lived in Groveland, 
Livingston County.
