This indenture made this twenty-sixth day of April in the year of our lord one
thousand eight Hundred and ten Between Sylvanus Cobb of Cazenovia in the
County of Madison of the first part and Sylvanus Cobb Junior and Daniel Cobb
of the same place of the second part.  (Witnessed) that the said party of the
first part for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars Current
money of the United Sates to him in hand paid by the said parties of the
second part the Receipt whereof is hereby (lonfeped) and acknowledged has
(granted) bargained sold remissed released aliened and confirmed.  And by
these presents does Grant Bargain sell remise release alien and confirm unto
the said parties of the Second part in their actual (possession) now being and
to their heirs and (assigns) forever all that (tierlerin) piece or parecel of
Land being the north half of Lot No. Seventeen Situate lying and being in the
Road Township in the County of Madison and State of New York Beginning at the
Northwest Corner at a beech tree marked 1, 2, and 17 and 18, thence east
thirty Eight Chains Sixty links to a maple tree marked 2, 3, 16 and 17 thence
south thirty eith chains Seventy nine links to a hard beam post barring from a
hard beem true north two degrees west distance seven links thence west thirty
eight chains Sixty links to a beech tree marked 17, 18, 19 and 20 thence north
thirty eight  chains sixty-nine links to the place of Beginning lonturing in
the Whole lot one Hundred and Fifty Acres be the same more or less except at
all time out of a foresaid described premises twenty five acres.  Whenever
these parties shall locate, Together with all and singular the Hereditements
and appurtences thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining And the
Reversion and Revisions, remainder and remaining rents, (ifones) and profits
thereof And all the state rights title interest property claim or damand
Whatsoever of the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in
and to the above bargained premises With the said Hereditaments and
appurtenances To have and To hold the said premises above particularly
described and to the said parties of the second part their heirs (afsigns) to
the sale and only proper use and (betroof) of the said parties of the second
part their heirs and afsigns forever And the said party of the first part for
himself his heirs executors and administrators does (lovenant) grant promise
and agree to and with the said parties of the second part their heirs and
afsigns the above bargained premises in the quiet and peaceable possession of
the said parties of the second part their heirs and afsigns against all and
every person lawfully and equitably Claiming of to Claim the whole or any part
thereof will ever warrant and Defend.  In Witsess whereof the said party of
the first part has (hereunto) put his hand over seal the day and year first
above written Sylvanus Cobb (SS) Sealed and delivered in the presence of
Phybhelds J. G. M. Hurd State of New York as on the twenty sixth day of April
Eighteen Hundred and ten personally appeared before me Sylvanus Cobb to
me well known who acknowledged that he executed the Within Instrument for the
uses and purposes therein mentioned and I having examined the Same and finding
therein no material erasures or interlineations do allow it to be Recorded
Phybelds Merster in Chanuary Recorded 29th (May 1810) at 6 o'clock PM.
