Estate Settlement of Sylvanus Cobb

This Indenture made the second day of February in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred fourteen Between the heirs of Sylvanus Cobb deceased
each and all of them of the State of New York of the first parties and Stephen
Corwin of the above mentioned place of the (second) part Witness that the said
party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of thirty dollars
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof
is hereby confessed and acknowledged hath bargained sold (reissued) (quit)
(claims) and by these presume doth bargain sell reuse and quit claims unto the
said party of the second part in his actual profession now being and to his
heirs and assigns forever all the Estate rights, title interest or Claim that
we or either of us have or may have in Lot Number Seventeen in Cazenovia in
the widow Elizabeth Cobb's (Dower) our mother a heirs at (Law) to be located
from the improved land that is set to her on the east end of said Lot and from
the north end of said Tract that parallel with the road and north (line) of
said tract to consist of the number of eight acres of land from the above
described premises the Conditions of which is unaminously agree (in from) by
the parties of the first part together with all and singular the hereditaments
and appurtanences thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the
Reversion and Reversions remainded and remainders (ents ifs us) and property
thereof and also all the estate right title interest clause or demand
whatsoever of them the said party of the first part either in Law or equity of
in and to the above bargained premises and any part and parcel thereof to the
said party of the second part his heirs and afsigns to the sole and only
proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs
and afsigns forever

Signed sealed and delivered in presence of Henry B. Jones.  Witness to the
(abovefirst) Signatures George W. Hollaway State of New York Js. on the
fifteenth of May came before me on George W. Holloway on of the subscribing
Witnesses to the within instrument to me well known who after having reply
sworn said that he saw Daniel Cobb Sylvanus Cobb Abner W. Cobb John M. Cobb
Lemuel Cobb Rufus Dryer William Clark Thomas Gridley and Elisha Cobb duly
execute the said instrument and that the (deferment) knows that the above
named persons who executed said instrument are the same persons and no other
that are described therein and that the said George subscribed as a witness
and thus appearing no material alterations therein I allow the same to be
(recorded).
