Belden of the Village of Brockport in the County of Monroe and State of new York send Greeting: Whereas, on the 11th day of September, 1896, a decree was duly made by our Surrogate's Court of our County of Monroe, appointing you General Guardian of the person and propety of John G. Belden of the Village of Brockport in the County of Monroe and State of New York, an infant over the age of fourteen years, to serve until the said infant attains the age of 21 years, and directing that Letters of Guardianship issue to you accordingly. And whereas you ahve taken and filed with the Surrogate of our said County the official oath and bond prescribed by law: Now, Therefore, know ye that we, having full confidence in your competency, have constituted and appointed, and do by these presents constitute and appoint you, the said Maria E. Belden General Guardian of the person and property of the said Infant, to serve as such Guardian until the said infant attains the age of 21 years. Witness, Hon. Geo. A. Benton, Surrogate of our said County of Monroe, and the Seal of our said Surrogate's Court, this 11th day of September in the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety six. Geo. A.
