She was born in Rochester, New York Jan. 2, 1899. She is survived by 6 nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. Hulda went to work as a bookeeper at age 16. At age 18 she was employed by the Rochester Bell Telephone Co. and worked for them for more than 30 years prior to her move to San Diego with her husband Hans in 1947. Hans preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1995. Together their ashes will be scattered at sea. Hulda and Hans were active members of the House of Denmark and Hulda was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was a devoted and loving wife, gracious hostess and compassionate friend. While small in stature her heart, courage and sense of humor was great. A Memorial Service will be held in the patio of her home at 2:00 p.m. on September 19th.
