NEWFANG -- Robert C., 78, a Poway resident 19 year passed away 9/15/98 at
Villa Pomerado. Born in Rochester, NY 1/17/1920. USMC WWII and Civil
Service Director of Transportation U.S. Government 37 yrs. Served as
Church Sexton for Saint Bartholomews for 15 yrs. Survived by wife of 54 years
Phyllis Newfang of Poway, son Michael Newfang of Blythe, CA, daughter
Teri Lynn Newfang-Black of Sandy, UT. 2 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren,
numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial Services were held at St.
Bartholomew, Poway. Donations to the church.
