Clark died 28 June 1875 in town of Ogden I, Russell B. Clark of Ogden, Monroe Co. State of New York being of sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory life, do therefore make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say: First. After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged I give and bequeath to my wife, Maria D. Clark all my real estate, in Ogden, being the homestead purchased of J. I. S. Wood with all household goods, and also all my personal property and effects belonging to the place, as they have been used and kept for the benefit & convenience of the household for her exclusive use & disposal without restriction or exception. I also bequeath to my son, Darwin R. Clark, and direct my Executors herein after named to deliver to my son, the Cooperage in the village of Holly, Orleans Co. As for memoranda, purchased of Wm. Griffin, including all the Stock & tools, for the manufacture of Apple Barrels and also for light barrels, every thing included in said Bill of purchase. I also direct my Executors, to pay each of my daughters, Nettie M. Clark & Frances J. Breese one year after my decease, each the sum of $150. one hundred and fifty dollars. And also to each of them, annually the same sum $150. until each receives six hundred dollars, and it shall be discretionary with my Executors, as the circumstances of my daughters, or either of them may require, to give them one hundred and fifty dollars additional. It is my express wish that my Daughter Nettie M. continue to have her home with her moth so long as she remains unmarried, as she has always done. And it is my desire a bed that my son Darwin, ever be a dutiful, affectionate son, ever counselling with and cheerfully assisting his mother & sister in every thing whcih may make their burdens lighter & their lot happier. Likewise. I make, constitute and appoint my wife Maria D. Clark and A. C. Barrell to be executors of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal the second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy five. Russell B.
